There are number of things that you must check before you book
your stall in any event or exhibition. Here is a quick list:
1-One should try to find out what kind of crowd is expected in
the event of exhibition. The profile of the people will make a difference to
your sales. If your product is not suited to the kind of people expected at the
exhibition then it will be waste of both time and money in putting up a stall
there.
2-One should also try to find out what all sizes of stalls are
available in the exhibition. If the sizes do not suit your product type and are
very small or very big then it may produce the desired result.
3-Try to find out the layout of the all the stalls and the entry
gate of the exhibition. Try to book a stall which is close to entry gate. This
is because the people who will visit the exhibition are far more likely to
visit the stall in the starting then those which are in the end. Another
advantage is that they some run out of money by the time they reach the stalls
in the end because they have made lot of purchases from the tall that they
visited in the beginning.
4-Check out what facilities will be offered to you as a person
who is booking the stall by the organizers of the event. There may be certain
necessary facilities for your stall to be a success and if those are not
provided or not allowed by the organizers then there is no pint in putting up the
stall there.
5-Check out the refund rules of the fees. Sometimes you may
decided not to put up the stall at the last moment for whatever unforeseen
reason. In such cases, you must get whole of part of the fees as refund.
